Welcome to GatherToCraft! These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the GatherToCraft website and related web services (the "Service").

GatherToCraft is an independent, non-commercial community project operated by Enrico Renna, an individual based in England, United Kingdom ("we", "us", or "our").

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. About GatherToCraft & Eligibility

1.1. GatherToCraft is a free group-finding (LFG) platform designed to help players find communities and groups for modded Minecraft.

1.2. Independent Project: GatherToCraft is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Mojang Studios, Microsoft Corporation, or any other third party. Minecraft is a trademark of Mojang Studios.

1.3. Age Requirements:

  • You must be at least 13 years old to register an account, post listings, upload images, or interact with other users.
  • Anyone under 13 may only browse publicly visible parts of the site where permitted by local law, without creating an account.
  • We will terminate accounts confirmed to belong to users under 13.

2. Accounts & Security

2.1. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

2.2. You agree to provide accurate information and keep your account details up to date. You may not impersonate others or create accounts to evade a ban, suspension, or platform restriction.

2.3. If you register using third-party services (such as Discord, Google, or Twitch), your use of those authentication tools is also subject to their respective terms and policies.

3. Community Rules & Acceptable Use

GatherToCraft is intended to be a welcoming, general-audience community. You agree not to post, upload, or transmit any content or behave in a way that:

  • is unlawful, fraudulent, defamatory, or depicts/promotes illegal acts;
  • is sexually explicit, pornographic, obscene, or contains nudity;
  • is hateful, harassing, threatening, discriminatory, or abusive;
  • depicts, encourages, or facilitates self-harm, violence, or real-world harm;
  • infringes the copyright, trademark, privacy, or other legal rights of others;
  • shares another person's private personal information without their consent;
  • distributes malware, viruses, phishing links, or malicious scripts; or
  • attempts to probe, scrape, disrupt, exploit, or bypass platform security, rate limits, or bot protection (e.g., Cloudflare Turnstile).

4. User Content & Licenses

4.1. Ownership: You retain full ownership and copyright of any text, modpack descriptions, group listings, gallery images, or messages you submit ("User Content").

4.2. Limited License: By posting User Content on public or shared areas of the Service, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, cache, display, and format your content solely to operate and provide the Service.

4.3. License Duration: This license ends when you delete your content or account, except where continued temporary retention is necessary for server backups, resolving disputes, enforcing security, or meeting legal obligations.

4.4. Responsibility: You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights and permissions to post your content and that it complies with these Terms.

5. Content Safety, Moderation & Reporting

5.1. Safety & Illegal Content (UK Online Safety / Intermediary Rules): We take community safety and the prevention of illegal content seriously. If you spot unlawful material, severe harassment, or safety concerns, please report it immediately to support@gathertocraft.com with the relevant link or details.

5.2. Moderation: We reserve the right to review, edit, or remove any User Content and to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, our Community Guidelines, or applicable law.

5.3. Automated Screening: We may use automated tools (such as text filters or image screening) to help detect spam, malware, or prohibited content.

5.4. Appeals: If your content is removed or your account is restricted and you believe this was an error, you may email support@gathertocraft.com to request a review. Where appropriate, appeals will be reviewed by a human rather than solely by an automated tool.

6. Intellectual Property & Copyright Complaints

6.1. Platform IP: The GatherToCraft website design, original code, branding, and logos are owned by Enrico Renna or licensed to us, and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

6.2. Copyright Complaints: If you are a copyright owner or authorized agent and believe that content on GatherToCraft infringes your copyright, please email a notice to support@gathertocraft.com with:

  • identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed;
  • the specific URL or location of the infringing material on our site; and
  • your name, contact information, and a statement confirming your good-faith belief that the use is unauthorized.

We respond promptly to valid takedown notices and will terminate accounts of repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.

7. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

7.1. "As Is" Service: GatherToCraft is provided free of charge on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We do not guarantee that the Service will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.

7.2. Liability Exclusions: To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses, loss of data, or lost gaming assets resulting from your use of the Service.

7.3. Legal Protections: Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful under applicable law to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any mandatory statutory rights you hold as a consumer.

8. Account Termination

8.1. By You: You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time via your account dashboard settings.

8.2. By Us: We may suspend or terminate your account:

  • immediately where necessary for security, safety, or to protect other users;
  • immediately for serious or repeated violations of these Terms; or
  • with reasonable notice where practicable in other circumstances.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will provide reasonable advance notice of material changes (such as via an email or a website banner) before they take effect. Minor adjustments or changes required immediately for legal or security reasons may take effect sooner. Your continued use of the Service after updates take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10.1. Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without depriving you of any mandatory consumer protections provided by the laws of your country of residence.
