Creating a Listing

Anyone can create a listing for a group they own or admin. You’ll find the New Listing button on the Browse Listings page, or the Create Listing button in the dashboard sidebar.

  • Title (required, up to 100 characters): what players will see first. Make it descriptive: “Semi-vanilla survival, building-focused, EU evenings” beats “Looking for players”.
  • Description (up to 2000 characters): what you’re playing, when, how, and who you’re looking for. Be specific: players apply based on this.
  • Slots available: 1 to 20. This is how many players you want to fill.
  • Modpack (optional): search for a modpack to attach to the listing. You can search for modpacks across CurseForge, Modrinth and Technic.
  • Status: only shown when editing: keep a listing Open or set it to Closed.

A listing always belongs to a group:

  • Use existing group: choose from the groups where you’re the owner or admin.
  • Create new group: if you don’t have a group yet, create one right here (name required, up to 100 characters; optional description up to 1000 characters). You’ll be able to manage it afterwards from the Groups page.

Choose at least one category preference describing the players you want: for example Casual, Experienced, Weekend. These appear on your listing so applicants can see if they fit.

Click Create Listing. You’re taken straight to the new listing page. It’s live immediately. Players can already see it in Browse and Discover.

You can only have a limited number of listings open at once:

  • Unverified accounts: 1 open listing
  • Verified accounts: 5 open listings

If you’re at the limit, the form blocks with a message telling you to close an existing listing first. Closed listings don’t count toward the limit, so if you’ve finished recruiting, close your listing.
