Notifications

GatherToCraft keeps you informed about everything that matters (applications, invitations, sessions, and gallery activity) through notifications. They appear in the app, and optionally in your Discord DMs.

  • Bell icon (top-right of the dashboard): a dropdown with your latest notifications and an unread badge.
  • Notifications page: open it from the bell, or it’s where clicking a notification takes you. It has All and Unread tabs, a Mark all as read button, and per-item actions: Mark as read / unread and Dismiss (hide it permanently). Older items load via Load More.

Clicking a notification takes you straight to what it’s about: the group, listing, warning, gallery item, or application.

You can mirror notifications to your Discord DMs. To set it up:

  1. Link your Discord account in Settings → Account (if you haven’t during onboarding).
  2. Join the GatherToCraft Discord server: discord.gathertocraft.com.
  3. Open Settings → Notifications.
  4. Turn on the Discord DM notifications master toggle.
  5. Fine-tune which types go to Discord with the individual toggles: the same list as above.

Messages are delivered to you directly on Discord as they happen, so you never miss an application while away from the site.

Everything is a toggle:

  • The master Discord toggle switches all Discord delivery on or off at once.
  • Per-type toggles work independently for each notification type above.
  • You can always turn a type off entirely (or keep it in-app only, with Discord off for that type).

Unwanted notifications can also be dismissed one by one on the Notifications page, and the whole list stays quiet until new events come in.
